Is Neck Pain, Headache or Poor Posture Affecting Your Daily Life?
Neck pain and stiffness can make everyday activities more difficult, from working at a desk and driving to sleeping comfortably, exercising, or simply turning your head without discomfort.
Many people who visit ChiroLife in Weybridge are looking for help with symptoms such as:
- Neck pain, stiffness, or restricted movement
- Tension across the shoulders or upper back
- Headaches that may be linked to neck tension or posture
- Discomfort after sitting at a desk, using a laptop, or looking down at a phone
- Pain or tightness that feels worse after driving or long periods of sitting
- Recurring flare-ups that keep coming back despite stretching, rest, or painkillers
- Posture-related discomfort, rounded shoulders, or a feeling of being "out of alignment"
At your initial consultation, we’ll take time to understand your symptoms, assess how your spine, neck, shoulders, and posture are functioning, and explain what may be contributing to the problem. From there, we can talk you through your options and recommend the most appropriate next step.

What happens at your First Visit?
Your first visit is designed to help us understand what may be contributing to your neck pain, stiffness, posture-related discomfort, or headaches that may be linked to your neck. The aim is to give you clarity, assess whether chiropractic care is suitable, and recommend the most appropriate next step.

We’ll start by talking through your symptoms, when they began, what makes them better or worse, and how they are affecting your daily life. This may include questions about desk work, driving, sleep, exercise, previous injuries, stress, screen use, and any history of recurring neck pain or headaches.
We will carry out a physical assessment to better understand how your neck, spine, shoulders, posture, joints, muscles, and nervous system are functioning. This may include posture checks, movement tests, orthopaedic tests, neurological screening, and hands-on examination where appropriate.
If X-rays are necessary, we can usually perform these at the same visit. (Please note that additional fees apply for X-rays.)
Once we have completed the consultation, examination and possible X-rays, we’ll explain our findings clearly and simply. The aim is to help you understand what may be contributing to your symptoms, why they may be recurring, and whether chiropractic care may be appropriate for your situation.
If chiropractic care is suitable, we’ll discuss a recommended care plan based on your symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. If further investigation is needed, such as MRI or referral to another healthcare professional, we’ll explain why and guide you through the process.
By the end of your first visit, you should have a clearer understanding of your neck, posture, symptoms, and care options, so you can make an informed decision about your next step.
