At ChiroLife in Weybridge, on-site X-ray facilities are available when clinically appropriate as part of your chiropractic assessment. X-rays are not required for every patient. Following your consultation and physical examination, your chiropractor will determine whether imaging could provide useful diagnostic information or influence decisions about your care.
Where an X-ray is clinically indicated, imaging can be carried out at ChiroLife without the need to arrange a separate appointment at another facility.
Having imaging facilities on site can make it easier to obtain relevant images and incorporate the findings into your clinical assessment.
Our X-ray facilities allow relevant diagnostic images to be taken at the clinic when clinically indicated.
Where X-rays are taken, the findings are reviewed and explained to you as part of your assessment.
We believe that having access to on-site X-ray services can help in providing comprehensive and effective chiropractic care tailored to each individual for targeted care.
Not everyone visiting ChiroLife will need an X-ray. Our chiropractor, Timothy Wood, will first take a detailed history and carry out an appropriate physical examination. X-ray imaging will only be considered where there is a clinical reason and where the information obtained is expected to help with diagnosis, influence the management of your condition or identify factors that may affect your care.
No. X-rays use ionising radiation, so every exposure must be clinically justified. Where imaging is being considered, our chiropractor will take into account whether the expected diagnostic benefit outweighs the exposure involved and will explain why an X-ray is being recommended.
